Stephen Eynon is a very rare breed in these days of the "Am I bothered generation" Stephen, not only has all the professional skills but has the understanding of his client's requirements coupled with the courtesy of a Gentleman. Sounds fiction, but it's true. He my man for any future carpet work even if i would have to wait, I know the end result would be worth it. Stephen laid a 18'3" x 11'82 carpet plus a Hall one with 5 doors leading off and a small 7'x5' ------------------------------------------------------ I would thoroughly recommend this chap. Has integrity, will to do a good job and offers good and sensible advice. ------------------------------------------------------- My name is Kevin Arndt, I recently came to the end of an extensive renovation of a large Victorian house which has been decorated to a very high standard. Having finished the renovation I then had to find a carpet fitter who could fit the carpets throughout the house (6 large bedrooms, 3 large reception rooms plus a large entrance hallway, 2 staircases, 1 half landing and one 1st floor landing) up to the standard of the rest of the house, fortunately a friend of mine, who is a successful interior designer recommended Stephen Eynon who he has used to carpet numerous projects of his, he assured me that I would be in good hands with Stephen, so I contracted Stephen for the job and was extremely pleased I did, his work was faultless, he was very respectful of my home and a pleasure to do business with. ------------------------------------------------------- Stephen laid a bedroom carpet for me last week. He promptly replied to my call, gave a very good price and arrived on time to complete the job. I will certainly use his services in the future. -------------------------------------------------------- I cant recommend Stephen enough. He arrived absolutely on time, was polite and excellent at his trade. He offered to tidy up after and fitted a gold bar at no additional cost. My mum looked up local fitters on line and Stephens web page came up. Brilliant to see some pictures of previous work. I would definately use Stephen again without hesitation and would equally recommend him to anyone who needs a fast, efficient top quality job and service with a smile. I never thought I'd praise a carpet fitter of all people so much. I found Stephen just through an internet search and knew I'd picked the right man for the job as soon as he came round. Not only is he a skilled fitter but also a genuine very nice bloke that makes such a difference when you're in the house with them for nearly a day!
I honestly cannot recommend him enough - he put our runner on the stairs and fitted the stair rods and the end result is just superb. Not only did we get a superior job than going through a shop that does it all but it was so much cheaper buying the carpet seperately and getting Stephen in.
Without a doubt I would recommend and get Stephen in for any carpet fitting work from now on! --------------------------------------------------------- OK, really recommend this guy. Let down by someone else and needed a carpet fitting in a hurry on a Friday night so my 18 month old daughter could get back in her room. He came out at about 5pm and worked through till about 10 when it was all done. First class job and a really friendly guy too. Frankly most people would not have bothered to do half what he did (and I don't normally end up doing this sort of online review thing but had to for this guy). --------------------------------------------------------- What an absolute gentleman and his workmanship is first class. I found Stephen through google and what a find. Friendly, helpful, nothing was too much bother. He had a good selection of carpet yet there was no pressure to buy anything but what you wanted. Much easier to choose and match carpet in your own home than under the misleading lights of many of the larger carpet stores. He arrived promptly on time and did a first class job. I will definietly use Stephen again when I need more carpet and would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone. If you're reading this and considering using his services, stop considering and contact him. Believe me, you'll be more than happy with the service you receive and have no regrets. I would recommend Stephen to anybody. He's fitted two carpets for me and I will definitely be using him again.
